North’s non-musical productions have been cutting edge.  Audiences are seated on stage in a “studio environment” allowing actors to perform literally within arm’s reach. 

North was one of the first high schools in the country to produce Mary Zimmerman’s Tony Award-winning play METAMORPHOSES complete with an 1800 gallon pool of water on stage!
